Welcome Back, LaunchUp LV!

Exciting news, #VegasTech friends: Launchup LV is back! After a yearlong hiatus, LaunchUp LV will begin again with its kickoff event at Inspire Theater on October 9. LaunchUp is a nonprofit organization that started in Utah and expanded to Las Vegas. Events are free and open to all interested in entrepreneurship and Jacqueline Jensen, Growth Hacker at Originate, has signed on to run the events (among the many other awesome roles she plays!).

“I am thrilled to see this event coming back to the #VegasTech community,” Jacqueline said. “Many of the entrepreneurs who have helped build this community presented at this event for the first time years ago. It’s amazing to partner with Inspire Theater, Rachel’s Kitchen, TBAN, the event speakers, and presenting companies to bring this event back to life.”

Interested? Here’s what you need to know:

We are looking for early stage startups/projects to present at our events where the startup community can provide an entrepreneur-friendly environment for feedback and help. We require that you have a prototype or a demo-able product; no idea-only presentations. If you’ve raised more than “walking around town money” (>$250k), have a large team (>5 FTE), or have been through a startup accelerator, LaunchUp probably isn’t a good fit for you. We love side projects from first-time entrepreneurs with other jobs or who are in school and who would use LaunchUp as their first time publicly presenting their startup.
