This week, we’re shining the spotlight on Spotify, who has just announced a 50% discount for college students! TechCrunch’s Jordan Cook explains, “The discount takes Spotify’s premium $10 subscription and slashes it in half, as long as the user is registered in any four-year, two-year or junior college in the country. SheetID will verify that these subscribers are, in fact, enrolled in school.”
Never heard of Spotify? It offers streaming music from both major and independent record labels. Users can listen to songs on shuffle for free or pay the monthly premium to have access to any song at any time.
